Feeling fifties (again and again and again)
Behold the latest Prada campaign. Is this gas station chic or what? Totally mesmerised by the Pink Ladies-meets Betty Page-meets To Catch A Thief feel of Miucca’s new collection, which appears to be shot in out-takes from the drag race scene in Grease. Check out the flame-rider shoes, won’t you, paired with all that bling from the new jewellery collection.
Somewhat more than inspired.

I love the shapes, the necks, the sensuality. Viva miuccia!
Worthwhile noting that our very own Mia Wasikowska (from Canberra in the recent “Jane Eyre” and a whole bunch of new films this year) is the new face for Miu Miu. This brand is the avant-garde, provocative yet sophisticated brand, created in 1993 by Miuccia Prada. Mia is featured in the latest “Vanity Fair” wearing other amazing 50s inspired outfits – out in Australia after February 12 – I’ll be watching out for it.
