All Buttons Great & Small

This has to be my favourite button shop in the universe, although I’m itching to visit Paris’ La Droguerie later in the year to see if they can top my local for brilliant button finds. All Buttons Great & Small in Newtown’s King St always seems to stock just the button I’m looking for, and service is knowledgable and friendly. They also stock a wide range of vintage buttons, and do mail orders for non-Sydney-siders.
Here’s some pics from our Tuesday visit, foraging for glossy numbers in a shade of raspberry to adorn a vintage Burberry trench.

Wow, think I am going to have to check this place out next time I am in Newtown! While you are in Paris, be sure to check out the craft section of Le Bon Marche – this department store is by far the most chic and eclectic of those in Paris, and I thought I had gone to crafting heaven when I found it had beautiful supplies for every handmade project imaginable! The food court is also worth a visit – pick up some bread, cheese and meats (and of course chocolate and patissery treats!) for lunch then savour in the little park across the road!
Thanks for the tip, Kaitlyn – I definitely will. So much to fit in, in such a relatively short holiday, but craft supplies are high on the list! x
